Advntyr is a consumer travel app built around a conversational AI agent. You describe a trip in one line — a country, roughly how many days, and what you're into — and the agent searches for matching places across the entire country, ranks and filters them, and builds an optimized multi-day route on a live map.
Is Advntyr free to use?
Yes. Advntyr is free to use, with no paid tier at this time.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There is no sign-up or login. Your trip data is kept locally in your browser, and you can share a trip with someone else via a link without either side needing an account.
What devices does Advntyr work on?
Advntyr runs in the browser and is responsive for both desktop and mobile — there's no app to install.
Getting started
What do I need to tell Advntyr to start planning a trip?
A country, roughly how many days, and the kind of trip you want is enough — for example, "5 days in Slovenia, I like military museums, natural wonders, history, and hiking." The agent will ask a follow-up question if it needs more detail, like trip length, but only when it actually needs it.
Which countries does Advntyr support?
Any country. Advntyr searches for places across the entire country you name, not just a single city.
Is there a limit on how many days a trip can be?
No fixed limit — you tell the agent how many days you have and it sizes the route to fit, from a quick weekend trip to a longer multi-week route.
Can I plan a trip for just one city instead of a whole country?
Yes. Country-wide search is the default because it's what manual planning handles worst, but you can ask for a single city or region and the agent will scope its search accordingly.
How the agent works
How does Advntyr find places?
The agent searches by keyword and interest across the country you specify, pulling real place data (names, ratings, review counts, locations) rather than generating places from a language model's memory.
How does Advntyr decide which places make the cut?
Results are ranked using rating and review volume together, then filtered by distance and density, so a place with a perfect rating from three reviews doesn't automatically outrank a well-established spot with thousands.
Can it search along a route I've already built, not just around one location?
Yes. You can ask for something on the way between two stops — like a coffee shop between day 2 and day 3 — and the agent searches the corridor along the existing route rather than a fixed point.
Can Advntyr look things up on the open web, not just its own places database?
Yes. When its own place data isn't enough — for current info, local tips, or lesser-known recommendations travel blogs mention — the agent can research the open web and resolve what it finds into real places you can add to your trip.
Where does Advntyr's place data come from?
Google Maps and related location data sources, supplemented by open-web research when needed.
Editing and refining
Can I change the trip after it's built?
Yes. You keep refining it by talking — "remove the wine-related places and add more hiking spots," "reorder so I start from the north," "keep only places rated above 4.5" — and the agent adjusts the live route rather than starting over.
What if I don't like a place the agent added?
Ask it to remove or swap that place, or filter by a rule like rating or category — the agent applies the change to the live route immediately.
Can I add a rest day?
Yes, just ask — the agent will add a rest day and adjust the route around it.
Can I edit the route manually instead of through chat?
Yes. Manual controls — a places panel, drag-to-reorder, and direct route editing — exist alongside the chat agent, but the agent is the default and fastest way to build and adjust a trip.

Exporting and sharing
Can I export my route to Google Maps?
Yes. Ask the agent to export at any point and it will produce a Google Maps link and QR code for the full route, a single leg, or just the stops you pick.
Can I share a trip with someone else?
Yes, via a share link — the other person can open it and load the trip without needing an account.
Limitations
Does Advntyr book flights or hotels?
No. Advntyr finds, ranks, and routes places — including hotels as a place category — but it doesn't book flights, accommodation, or anything else.
Does Advntyr check opening hours or real-time availability?
No. It works from place data like ratings, review counts, and location — it doesn't check live opening hours or availability, so verify those directly before you go.
Does Advntyr work in languages other than English?
The agent and interface are in English.
